I am a Hastings High School alumnus, Class of 1982! I returned to Hastings as a Special Education teacher in 1997 and have enjoyed teaching here ever since. Although I was a Literature major in college, my area of specialization at Hastings has become the sciences. I have co-taught in Earth Science and Living Environment/Biology classes for several years. I am now pursuing a second Masters in the Teaching of Science. I teach a special science class that has given me a wonderful outlet for my passion for the natural world. I also teach Learning Resource Center which gives me an opportunity to guide students to a better understanding of themselves as people and learners. I am a Ninth grade LRC specialist.
