I have been a Professional School Counselor for 20 years at the Farragut Middle School and have earned National Board Certification. This year I am working with grades 6 and 7.
As a school counselor, it is my job to assist students and their families with the academic, social emotional and career development of the middle school years. In accordance with the ASCA National and Ethical Standards, I work with students and their families in a confidential environment. Some of the services I provide include academic planning and scheduling, individual and small group counseling, as appropriate, and the delivery of large group guidance classes in conjunction with the health and Home & Career departments. I am also available to consult with parents and guardians regarding their child's individual needs.
