• Hastings Modified Athletic Philosophy
     
    This program is available to all students grades 7th-8th grade.  At the modified level, all students are encouraged to participate.  However, student-athletes are expected to attend all scheduled practice sessions and games.  The emphasis of our modified program is on participation and the teaching of fundamental skills to young athletes with the hopes of better preparing them for the higher levels.  Modified practices and games are Monday-Friday.

    We are excited to announce that Hastings UFSD will be using an online sports registration platform called FamilyID for all athletic registrations.  This online platform will replace the hard-copy forms previously required for sports participation.  FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our athletic programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID you will be asked to enter your information only once, but are free to make changes as needed.  

     

    Registration for all Middle School Fall Sports will be open on Sunday, August 4th 2019.

          Open Registration for Modified sports:            August 4th – August 30th

    If registration is completed after August 30th your child
    is not guaranteed clearance for the first day of practice. 

       PLEASE NOTE:  Your child is not cleared for participation until approval has been granted by Hastings UFSD school medical director.

    A physical exam is required for medical clearance and must have been completed within 12 months prior to the start of any sport season. Please upload the completed physical through Family ID.
