Farragut Middle School

Hello! My name is Ms. Jones and I’m very excited to be a part of this collaborative and supportive school community. You may also see my name listed as Ms. Comerford-Jones. I attended IONA University for my undergraduate studies where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Childhood General Education with my concentration in English. I later graduated from Lehman College with my Master’s degree in Childhood Special Education. I am also certified to teach Adolescent English Language Arts. My first four years of teaching were in a 6th grade Integrated Co-Teaching classroom in Yonkers. Before joining Farragut Middle School, I taught in the Bronx as the lead 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher for six years.

My Google Classroom will include plenty of resources to be used throughout the year. I hope that all of my students will enjoy taking advantage of the experiences that will be presented inside and outside of the classroom, so that they may have a truly successful year. I’m looking forward to all of the hard work that we will be accomplishing together ensuring that we are all performing at our full and highest potentials! We are all a TEAM because Together Everyone Achieves More! =)
