•  My name is Kristen Calle and this is my fourth year teaching at Hillside Elementary.   Prior to coming to Hastings I taught English as a New Language in the New York City Public Schools.  I graduated from New York University and then went on to get my Master's degree at Pace University in Elementary Education.  In addition to being certified in Elementary Education and ENL, I hold certification in Special Education and Literacy.  I love the community and friendly environment at Hillside and I am thrilled to be teaching here.

     

    I enjoy taking yoga, hiking, biking and running.....basically anything outdoors.  My passion for running has enabled me to coach sports at Hastings.  I coach X-Country, Winter Track and Spring Track.  I look forward to another successful year teaching and coaching at Hastings!
