    Important Athletic Notice:

    According to the NYSPHAA Guidelines:

"If school is closed for in-person education during the school year due to an increase in confirmed COVID-9 cases, school-sponsored sports must be suspended until in-person education is resumed: provided, however, that this restriction does not apply to schools that are conducting only remote instruction."

That being said, Hastings Fall Sports Season 1 Athletics will be suspended from October 30th until November 6th. We will resume back up on November 7th and finish out the season strong!

Athletes, please continue to individually train and maintain your fitness to be ready to go on the 7th!

    Hastings Athletics Philosophy

Interscholastic athletics can be a valuable component of a student's educational experience in Hastings. Through the promotion of self discipline, dedication,  sportsmanship, teamwork, accountability, and commitment to achievement, athletics fosters many of the qualities and educational values we endorse as a district. Interscholastic competition is a forum through which students may push themselves and their limitations, allowing them to develop self confidence and enhance their self-esteem.
Over 50% of the Hastings School District student body participates on one or more teams during the course of the school year.  Involvement in structured physical activities has proven to help students learn how to manage their time.  Acquiring time management skills can lead to the development of mature and responsible adults.
The Hastings coaching staff is a stong combination of young energetic coaches, and well seasoned veterans who work tirelessly to provide the best possible experiences for our student athletes.
Let us support all athletes and opponents, and make the Hastings environment one that exudes competition and sportsmanship.
