Farragut Middle School

 

Hi all,

 

My name is James Forcinito and I am a school psychologist working for the Hastings-on-Hudson district.  I have been a part time member of the Hastings staff since January 2017, and am excited about my increased role within the district and community.  Although I am primarily located at the Farragut complex, I will be spending considerable time at Hillside throughout the year.  This year, I will be conducting psychological and academic evaluations for our special education department, as well as chairing CSE meetings.  

 

I received my BA in Communications and my MS in School Psychology, and completed my internship year in nearby Scarsdale.  Since then, I have worked in various roles, both as a Behavior & Student Life Coordinator and a Dean of Students, in Long Island City and Jamaica, Queens.  I have experience with assessment and interpretation, individual and group counseling, and have lead many school culture initiaves.
