Students Make a Positive Impact at Hastings High School's Blood Drive

Student at Blood Drive montageIn the spirit of giving, on November 21, Hastings High School partnered with the American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive in the Cochran Gymnasium.

Sponsored by the Hastings Youth Council and organized by students Natalie Romero, Catie Cho and Charlotte Durietz Bourdain, the event served as a prime example of students giving back to those in need, helping to make a life-saving difference.

With the support of student volunteers and donors, a total of 41 pints of blood were collected, which will help maintain the blood supply for trauma and surgery patients and others in need of blood transfusions.

"We are so grateful to all the donors and for the support we received from the community and school administration," said Romero.
