Dear Hastings Family and Staff:

I am writing immediately with an important announcement from Mr. Lou Adipietro about his decision to work for one more year as Principal of Hastings High School. The Board of Education approved Mr. Adipietro's retirement at its meeting this evening and has appointed him as Interim Principal for Hastings High School for 2023-24. Please see Mr. Adipietro's letter to the community here.

I appreciate Lou's dedication to the students, staff and families of Hastings High School. I deeply value his commitment to helping us transition over the next year to a new Principal, effective July 1, 2024. We will announce a comprehensive search process in late Fall 2023.
