Seven Hastings High School juniors have been selected to enter the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program and named Commended Scholars. They are among just 50,000 of the highest scoring participants among the 1.3 million students who took the 2021 Preliminary SAT (PSAT) test. In the fall they will learn whether they are among the top 16,000 scorers in the nation, making them semifinalists.
