Hastings-on-Hudson Union Free School District was among many districts throughout the region that participated in Halloween festivities on Monday. 

Across all grades, Hastings students took the opportunity for creativity and self-expression, engaging happily with one another in their classrooms, throughout the hallways and outdoors. Faculty and staff also came decked out in costumes, incorporating Halloween-themed activities into their lessons for the day and joining together in a costume theme for their respective grade levels. There was even a parade at Hillside Elementary School in the morning, where families stood on the sidelines to watch their children march.

From fairies and superheroes to aliens and witches, it was a playfully spooky day of exploration, expression, confidence and connection.
