In the final weeks of the school year, Hillside Elementary School students, families and staff had much to commemorate.

While excited for the summer break, according to Principal Amy Cazes, students and staff are already gearing up for next year.

"Our new theme was recently announced for the 2023-24 school year, " she said. "It will be 'Hillside is a learning laboratory'. We mix respect, courage, and curiosity to get the formula for success!"

The idea for next year's theme was submitted by rising second grader Corey Woods.
