Students and staff at Hillside Elementary School are using their artistic talents to paint a mural that connects to the school’s core values and celebrates being unique.  

Affinity Club Advisor Jada Dickens organized the project, using the book Just Ask as inspiration. Just Ask is written by Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Sonia Sotomayor and illustrated by Raphael Lopez.

In the story, Sotomayor says “Each of us has unique powers to share with the world.”
