Mindfulness Evening Classroom for Parents and Students

This workshop will begin with an overview of mindfulness and the important role it can play in the lives of our students. Research will be presented on the benefits of daily mindful practice and how mindfulness looks at FMS. There will be hands-on activities that everyone will experience including gratitude practice, understanding stress, and a mindful sit, Some activities will take place in the mindful space. If you have a device like a FitBit that monitors your heart rate you are encouraged to wear it! We look forward to working with students and families, side by side, in our pursuit for more balanced, healthy lifestyles!
